Since Heiwa Paper was founded, we have been loving paper and made a continuous effort to disseminate and enlighten rich textured papers which we call "Fancy Paper", to contribute harmony between Fancy Paper and the information culture. Fancy Papers are called as fine paper, speciality paper, premium paper, decollated paper and embossed paper too. We also, have been introducing and handling the traditional Japanese paper called "Washi". Washi is a high quality handmade paper made under craftsmanship, known as a symbolic paper of Japan. We have been trying to contribute in diffusion of this unique Washi to the world too. Heiwa Paper has enjoyed cooperation with many customers through supply of distinctive speciality papers to the publishing, packaging, paper products and commercial printing industries. Fancy Papers are colored, embossed, designed and decollated and these characteristics enhance customers' products. For example, decollated papers with the feathery texture would be used to book covers. High quality printing papers with the shining surface would become beautiful greeting cards. And embossed papers with attractive texture would be seen as creative wrapping papers. With our distinctive Fancy Paper, Heiwa Paper is known as one of the leading companies in the premium paper market not only in Japan. The social system of the present age is significantly changing such as the expanding global IT on a daily basis. Heiwa Paper would reexamine and look over the nature of fine paper again to reconsider the relationship between speciality paper and the cultural future through our premium papers. We have an earnest will to introduce rich textured Fancy Papers to the world and to built up a cultural future with human touches. With this wish and will, we redesigned our new corporate symbol mark at this opportunity of 60 years anniversary on March 2006. Our new symbol mark comes from a motif of H and P of Heiwa Paper. With a soft image with dynamism, we tried to express the five continents in the figure. With this new symbol mark, Heiwa Paper would be responsible to the global environment and make an effort to play a role to build a cultural future through our high quality paper, Fancy Paper.
